Helping Entrepreneurs Succeed: Ann Miura-Ko

by Scott Edward Walker on August 2nd, 2012

To Our Clients & Friends: Welcome to our weekly series “Helping Entrepreneurs Succeed.”  Each week, we share a favorite video clip of a successful entrepreneur, investor or business leader on a variety of topics.

This week, we present Ann Miura-Ko, a co-founding partner at FLOODGATE, a lecturer in the School of Engineering at Stanford University (where she received her PhD) and “the most powerful woman in startups” according to Forbes.

In this interesting, brief clip (courtesy of Startup Grind), Ann shares some solid nuggets for founders, including the importance of (i) authenticity, (ii) seeing a path through obstacles and (iii) a “singular focus and drive.”  I hope you enjoy it.  Cheers, Scott
