Terry L. Thomas has 11+ years of sophisticated intellectual property (IP) and technology law experience, including 4+ years at two major law firms in California and 2+ years as general counsel for Liquid Audio, Inc.  He has represented a number of high-profile clients in connection with IP and technology law matters, including Intuit Inc., Yahoo! Inc., Sega.com, Inc. and Namco Networks America Inc.

Terry has strong experience negotiating and drafting (i) development, licensing and distribution agreements for software and other multi-media content companies (both online and mobile carrier channels), (ii) marketing and co-marketing/co-branding agreements (both electronic and traditional media) and (iii) strategic partnering and other IP agreements.  He also has advised startups and emerging-growth companies in connection with IP protection and strategy, including registering trademarks and copyrights, and has extensive M&A and financing experience.

Terry graduated from the University of Oklahoma (B.A. Phi Beta Kappa) and Stanford Law School (J.D., Stanford Journal of International Law) and is a member of the California Bar.  He is Of Counsel to the firm.
