This week, in celebration of the filing of Facebook’s S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, we again present Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder of Facebook and indeed an amazing, inspirational entrepreneur.

Below is five-minute highlight video of Mark and some of his “words of wisdom.”  I have also set forth below a copy of the letter he wrote to potential investors as part of the registration statement.  It is an extraordinary document, chock full of golden nuggets for entrepreneurs (particularly in “The Hacker Way” section).

Can I Raise Funds via Facebook or LinkedIn?

As a corporate lawyer for entrepreneurs, I am frequently asked: “Hey Scott, can I raise funds for my new company via Facebook or LinkedIn?  I have lots of friends and connections, and I know some of them would be interested in investing.”  The short answer is no (except in rare circumstances) because it would violate securities laws.
